A comfortable alternative to the train and the taxi: 33 km from your Nice hotel to the Croisette, with a fare confirmed at booking and a chauffeur waiting at the agreed time.
33 kilometres separate central Nice from the Croisette. Via the A8 the drive takes around 40 minutes; along the coast through Cagnes-sur-Mer, Villeneuve-Loubet and Antibes, allow 55-70 minutes depending on the season, with the Mediterranean in view the whole way.
The A8 is heavily loaded during office hours between Nice-Saint-Augustin and Antibes, and crossing Cannes slows down during major congresses. Your chauffeur adjusts the departure time to your hard arrival deadline: we would rather leave early than have you rush.
Distance: 33 km from central Nice
Average duration: 45 minutes, up to 1h15 during congresses
Routes: A8, or the coast road via Antibes and Golfe-Juan
Tolls, fuel and waiting time included
Drop-off points in Cannes
We serve the whole city and its immediate surroundings: Boulevard de la Croisette and its palace hotels (Carlton, Martinez, Majestic, JW Marriott), the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, the Old Port and Port Canto, the Californie district, Le Suquet, Palm Beach, as well as Mougins, Mandelieu and Le Cannet.
For boarding to the Lérins islands or joining a yacht, we drop you as close as access rules allow to the relevant quay.
Congresses and festivals: plan for road closures
Cannes runs on its events calendar: the Film Festival in May, Cannes Lions in June, MIPIM, MIPTV, MIPCOM and the Tax Free World Exhibition. During these weeks the Croisette is partly closed, drop-off zones move and journey times can double.
We follow the official schedules and adapt both the route and the drop-off point. For a business meeting during a congress, allow 30 minutes on top of the theoretical drive time — we already build that into the pick-up time we propose.
A comfortable alternative to the train and the taxi
The Nice-Ville to Cannes regional train takes about 30 minutes, but you still have to reach the station, travel with your luggage and finish by taxi from Cannes station, often when the queue is longest.
A private transfer removes those breaks: collection at your address, a fixed fare known in advance, a quiet car with wifi and water on board, and a drop-off at the door of your hotel or the Palais des Festivals.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a transfer from Nice to Cannes?
Fares start at €150 in a Mercedes E-Class sedan from central Nice, tolls and fuel included. The final price depends on the vehicle and the exact addresses, and is confirmed before you validate the booking.
How long does it take to drive from Nice to Cannes?
About 45 minutes via the A8 in normal conditions. Allow 1h to 1h15 at peak times or during a major congress, and 55-70 minutes if you prefer the coast road through Antibes.
Can you collect me at my hotel and bring me back in the evening?
Yes, same-day returns are common. You can fix both times at booking, or choose hourly hire if your schedule stays open — useful during a congress when meetings shift.
Is it possible during the Cannes Film Festival?
Yes, but book well ahead: demand far exceeds supply in May. During the Festival the Croisette is regulated and some drop-off zones are removed; we tell you the nearest authorised point and build in extra time.
Does the fare change if the drive takes longer than expected?
No. The price is set at booking and covers the agreed journey whatever the traffic. Only a change you request (an extra stop, a new destination) leads to an adjustment, quoted before it is applied.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes — baby seats, child seats and boosters are provided free on request. Give us the children's age and weight at booking so the right equipment is fitted before pick-up.
