Central Nice and the Principality of Monaco are only 22 kilometres apart, but journey times vary widely with traffic and the route chosen. Via the A8 motorway, allow around 30 minutes off-peak; via the Moyenne Corniche, closer to 40-45 minutes, with uninterrupted views over Villefranche bay, Cap-Ferrat and the hilltop village of Èze.
